What am I doing awake? I must be crazy? Shane and Lindsey will be up in 3 hours! For some reason, I am feeling wired. Don't know why...I didn't even get that much sleep last night so I should be wiped out. Lord knows I'm gonna be exhausted this afternoon. I just have so many things running through my head at 100 miles an hour. I hate it when I get like this. Oh what I wouldn't give for half of a sleeping pill right now. LOL But no can do cause I'm a nursing mama! Speaking of nursing, Shane came home last night when I happened to be nursing Mal and he asked me if I planned on breastfeeding forever. Didn't really know it was becoming an issue with him. I know people around here are wierd about the whole breastfeeding thing. It makes them uncomfortable for some reason. My friends & family were uncomfortable with it when Mal was an itty bitty baby (not saying they weren't supportive) so I'm sure they are really uncomfortable with it now that she is just over a year old. I had only planned on nursing for the first year...I honestly didn't even know if I would make it that far. But now Shane has me thinking that maybe I should start planning on weaning. I am just not sure I want to yet. I know she is getting older and can now drink cows milk but it's a major comfort thing for her. She usually nurses when she is really upset or tired. So I don't know...maybe I will go for another few months. 16 months sounds like a good number!
I did some more layouts today. One is so-so but the other I really love how it turned out. The papers I used are so cool! I just love the patterns in them! Have a lookie and let me know what you think!
I used Kathy Moore's Summer Fruits kit for this layout. I love this kit...I just had a really hard time getting those creative juices flowing. The font is Artistamp Medium.
I actually created this layout for a font challege at DigiScrappin.biz. I LOVE how it turned out. Like I said earlier...these papers are so cool! The striped background and the mats under the photo are by Michelle @ DigiScrappin.biz. All the rest of the elements are from the Bistro kit by ScrapArtist. The fonts I used are Baloney, Barracade and BobbiesHand.
